Ambright Education: Social Studies

I worked at multiple Ambright Education schools in Nanjing and Nantong, as well as the Ambright Education headquarters in Nanjing, China. During my time there, I taught high school social studies and was responsible for developing and implementing the curriculum This was also my first experience with AP teaching AP US History and World.

• Developed and implemented lesson plans for high school social studies
• Utilized interactive teaching methods to engage students
• Created multimedia presentations and resources
• Assessed student progress and provided feedback
• Participated in professional development workshops
• Collaborated with colleagues to enhance the curriculum
• Conducted Interviews with potential new teachers for subject knowledge
• Taught Summer and Winter supplemental courses
• Conducted company-wide student entrance testing

Ambright Education was a pivotal moment in my career. I was able to develop my teaching skills and gain valuable experience in curriculum development and classroom management. What had been a job turned into a career and I began to rapidly advance in the world of international education.
